About Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association
<\/strong>Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA), established in 2001, is a non-profit trade association registered in Hong Kong to provide a platform for the wireless-related business to work together to facilitate the industry development and growth. Its objectives are to promote the development, usage and awareness of wireless technology applications in Hong Kong; enhance communication and partnership between different types of companies in the wireless technology industry; represent and safeguard the interests and opinions of the wireless technology industry to the Government and other international parties; and advance the professional standards of software and hardware development in wireless technology applications. It has over 100 company members from local and overseas, including mobile network operators, mobile device manufacturers, hardware \/ software vendors, system integrators, wireless application developers, mobile content providers, etc. WTIA has been cooperating with Government, industry associations and commercial firms to implement many meaningful projects and organizing many important events in order to foster the industry growth. About The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC)
<\/strong>The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) is a multi-disciplinary organization established by statute in 1967. HKPC's mission is to promote productivity excellence through the provision of integrated support across the value chain of Hong Kong firms, in order to achieve a more effective utilization of resources, to enhance the value-added content of products and services, and to increase international competitiveness. HKPC is governed by a Council comprising a Chairman and 22 members. This Council represents managerial, labor, academic and professional interests, as well as related government departments. The operation of HKPC is supported by fee income from its services and government subventions. With close to 400 consulting and technical professionals, HKPC and its subsidiaries provide a multitude of services in technology transfer, consultancy, training and other support services in the areas of manufacturing technology, information technology, environmental technology and management systems. About Create Hong Kong
<\/strong>Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) is a dedicated office set up by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) to spearhead the development of Hong Kong's creative industries. Set up in June 2009, CreateHK co-ordinates the Government policy regarding creative industries, focuses Government's resources catering for the promotion and speeding up of the development of creative industries in Hong Kong, and works closely with the trade to boost the development of creative industries.<\/p>\r\n
