HKPC's mission is to promote productivity excellence through the provision of integrated support across the value chain of Hong Kong firms, in order to achieve a more effective utilization of resources, to enhance the value-added content of products and services, and to increase international competitiveness. HKPC is governed by a Council comprising a Chairman and 22 members. This Council represents managerial, labor, academic and professional interests, as well as related government departments. The operation of HKPC is supported by fee income from its services and government subventions. With close to 400 consulting and technical professionals, HKPC and its subsidiaries provide a multitude of services in technology transfer, consultancy, training and other support services in the areas of manufacturing technology, information technology, environmental technology and management systems.
