The three-day event taking place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 6 - 8 September 2017 features the most advanced security, fire and safety products including access control and biometrics, CCTV and surveillance, cybersecurity, drones, fire alarms, fire detection, fire protection, gates and doors, home automation, intelligent building, physical security and more. Some of the world-renowned brands participating are Entrypass Corporation Sdn Bhd, Seagate, Guangdong Anjubao Digital Technology Co., Ltd, Beijing Landwell Electron Technology Co., Ltd, ComNet, Dahua, Nemtek (Pty) Ltd, Noctura Ltd, InfoWatch Group and others.

Following the latest industry trends, IFSEC Southeast Asia is introducing a drone zone on the show floor. The dedicated area allows drone operators to showcase their products' capabilities and manoeuvrability to industry players and how drones can be used in the security, fire and safety industry. Another attraction on the show floor is the seminar theatre where international experts, such as Ms. Natalya Kaspersky, co-founder of Kaspersky Lab and president of InfoWatch Group, Mr. James Bitting from Equinox Innovative System, Mr. Bryan Liu from DJI Enterprise and more presenting more than 10 hot topics.

For the first time, the Ministry of Home Affairs, joined by APSA, PPKKM and IFSEC Southeast Asia is organising Conference Perdana, which is joined by more than 2,000 security companies and practitioners. The conference includes a keynote address by the Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister, Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi a panel discussion with the Immigration Department, Malaysian Employers Federation, Royal Malaysia Police and Ministry of Urban Wellbeing, and Housing and Local Government. Also, the Ministry of Home Affairs will have a panel discussion with security service providers and end users.
