Denyo Unveils The World's First Smallest Quietest Generator In Singapore

SINGAPORE, Dec. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Denyo, Asia's leading brand in portable power generator technology with deployment of its equipment in over 130 countries worldwide, has unveiled The Malie - the world's first quietest and smallest engine-driven portable power generator.

Denyo unveils Malie DCA-25MZ, the world's first quietest and smallest generator at 43 decibels.

Named after the Hawaiian word for "quiet" and "calm", The Malie registers at just 43 decibels in sound emission under standard testing (comparable to the silence felt at a quiet library) and represents the culmination of Denyo's technological achievements and breakthroughs in portable power technology for more than 6 decades, marking an important milestone as the Nikkei-listed group looks towards celebrating the 70th anniversary of its founding in 2018.

First conceived and conceptualised 3 years ago, Denyo's engineers set out to achieve the impossible - making a generator soundless - by stepping away from the conventional technology of generator manufacture, going back to basics, and re-imagining the structure of a generator from the very beginning through fresh, new perspectives.

The result is a finely-crafted compact equipment measuring only 1.75m x 1m x 1.22m in size and is ideal for powering activities such as events and on-location filming where quietness is required, apart from the usual industrial and construction applications that Denyo has traditionally been associated with.

As demonstrated last evening at the unveiling event held at Denyo's Singapore office at 9 Neythal Road, the Malie single-handedly powered all the visual and audio equipment, lightings and food stations throughout the event's entirety without disruption or hiccups - and more importantly without being noticed at all - right up till the point of its unveil towards the end of the event, even though it was deliberately positioned mere metres away from the guests.

"As a leading generator brand, Denyo is always challenging itself to break the limitations and assumptions of conventional engineering norms and manufacture processes; to build truly innovative products to purposefully serve the environments and communities that they are deployed in, and to create new opportunities for our customers and users to achieve their business and operational goals,"  explains Mr. Ikeda Takatoshi, Managing Director of Denyo United Machinery, Denyo's regional centre for Asia Pacific.

"The unveil of the Malie 43dB generator represents Denyo's commitment to the future of generator technology and our unwavering pursuit to provide durable and efficient power for the betterment of our users and the environment."

The Malie is currently available in Japan as a production model and is scheduled to be released for Singapore and the Asia Pacific markets in the middle of 2018.

The Malie specifications:
Mode: DCA-25MZ
Dimensions: 1,750 x 1,000 x 1,220 (mm)
