SINGAPORE, Sept. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Carrot Patch, Asia's first collaborative work space dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI) is set for an official launch in November 2017 with a mission to house and nurture the most brilliant minds in the industry under one roof.

Conveniently located on the city fringe along Henderson Road, The Carrot Patch aims to be the hub where the AI-savvy and the AI-curious work, collaborate and ideate to elevate AI research and development. Boasting almost 8,000 square feet in space, The Carrot Patch has something for everyone -- a hot desk for freelancers who relish the flexibility, dedicated work spaces for small teams and private offices for businesses.

Working closely with AI.SG, the S$150 million national programme launched earlier this year by the Singapore government, The Carrot Patch will be an integral milestone for the Smart Nation Vision to harness and grow the flourishing AI community in Singapore.

Other than spaces, The Carrot Patch has much to offer. Members will enjoy a suite of office facilities, access to meeting rooms, breakout areas, lockers and high-speed wireless connectivity, as well as access to the rooftop that houses a swimming pool, gym and other amenities for regular members. Members of The Carrot Patch will also be invited to exclusive in-house events, including workshops specially curated to broaden participants' horizons in both work and leisure, house parties and networking events to foster collaboration and collision of ideas.

"The Carrot Patch will set the stage for future innovations allowing like-minded individuals to congregate and challenge the digital frontier. As Singapore is booming with start-ups' talents, and the new technology scene is particularly enamoured with AI, our aim is to help create and nurture AI-focused solution providers in Singapore that seek to improve daily user experiences, enhance engagements between brands and consumers, and simplify life activities in a wide range of industries," said Marcus Tan, co-founder and CEO of The Carrot Patch.

"Our coworking space is created by techies, for techies. Our sister company and anchor tenant, AIQ, offers state-of-the-art, flexible, scalable deep learning and computer vision solutions for businesses and we are looking forward to hustle with other AI and tech-focused startups. The Carrot Patch is also working with universities to attract fresh talents into the community and develop talent for the industry."
