To help celebrate the international cuisine scene, chefs from the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia will be preparing exotic and traditional dishes as part of the ASEAN pavilion, in which more than 100 companies represented the region last year

Seven companies from Turkey will also be joining the show this year with the Turkish Flour, Yeast, and Ingredients Promotion Group (TFYI). As the group is looking to establish a stronger business network in Korea, they will also be hosting a cocktail reception on November 3rd 2016 at 6:30 pm at the Park Hyatt Seoul Hotel.

Other events during the exhibition include a Wine Festival, the Seoul Cooking Show, the WCC/Brewer's Cup 2016, and a seminar on Home Brewing beer.

Food Week 2016 will also see more than 100 companies from the overseas food market visit the show as potential buyers. Through Food Week's 1:1 business matching program, the buyers will have a chance to meet with local companies to discuss potential opportunities.

This year's show is shaping up to improve on last year's Food Week, which had a record-breaking year with over 900 companies from 31 countries and saw nearly 80,000 visitors. An impressive 90% of exhibitors and 87% of buyers were satisfied with the show's offerings.
