HKBN Triumphs with "Next Top Service Award" & "Best Staff Award 1st Runner-up" Earning Recognition for Service Excellence

HONG KONG, June 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the conclusion of the "Next Top Service Awards 2016" Award Presentation Ceremony held by Next Magazine, Hong Kong Broadband Network Limited ("HKBN") is proud to announce that it was honored as the winner in the "Internet Service Providers" category. In addition, Angus Chan, Senior Manager – Technical Service and Co-Owner of HKBN, was named 1st Runner-up of the "Best Staff Award 2016".

This year, the "Next Top Service Awards 2016" are divided into 16 industry categories. The Awards aim to recognise the best players from each industry. Through open voting, winners are selected by the general public.

Apart from being named the Best Internet Service Provider in Next Magazine's Top Service Awards 2016, HKBN also earned the 1st Runner-up Best Staff Award for the very first time, despite fierce competition from 16 different industries. The judging panel were impressed by Angus Chan, HKBN Senior Manager – Technical Service & Co-Owner who performed outstandingly through seven categories of assessment which included service attitude, problem solving, initiative, expertise, resilience and teamwork.

Leading a team of over 300 Certified Professional Engineers who provide onsite engineering and maintenance services to broadband customers, Angus credits winning of Best Staff Award to the company's emphasis over Talent training.
