LKK Health Products Group is honored with the "Outstanding CSR Award" showing its dedication to the community and society

HONG KONG, May 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --  On April 27, LKK Health Products Group (LKKHPG) received the "Outstanding CSR Award" for the sixth time and named as "CSR Ambassador" by The Mirror Magazine, an authoritative monthly magazine based in Hong Kong. The advisory committee, which consists of government officials, business leaders and academic experts, recognized LKKHPG's excellent performance in stakeholder responsibility, customer commitment, employee care, social engagement, environment protection, and corporate governance.

"Infinitus Walking Day Activity", which has been held for seven years, aims to encourage public to develop a healthy lifestyle.

Over the years, LKKHPG has been devoted to CSR and creating shared value with stakeholders from different sectors. Building a healthy and happy sustainable ecosystem has been one of the key focuses at LKKHPG. In 2016, the Lee Kum Kee Family donated USD 21 million to set up the Lee Kum Sheung Center for Health and Happiness at the Harvard T.H.Chan School of Public Health. The center is dedicated to exploring the positive mental, social and emotional factors that affect individual resistance to diseases. It aims to identify the link between emotions and physical health and promote a happier and healthier life.

Apart from integrating the advocacy of health and happiness into the core business, LKKHPG has determined six commitments in CSR, namely responsibilities to health, quality, employees, partners, environment and community. For example, it has successively launched several charity programs including the "Si Li Ji Ren Education Dream Support Program", and "Infinitus Walking Day Activity" to promote public health as well as harmony in the society. The Group had donated cash and supplies worth over RMB 190 million to the community.
