The purchase of 29 bottles of The Macallan 18-Year-Old Vertical comes just three months after a world record-breaking, USD $500,000 sale of a Macallan Fine and Rare collection in December 2016 at the same store.
This latest collection boasts every vintage of The Macallan 18-Year-Old, also known as 'The Iconic Macallan' spanning 1958 to 1986. Long renowned as one of the finest single malts in the world, this collection and its 29 year history is a testament to the exquisite care taken by The Macallan when crafting their whisky, which is only matured in the most exceptional oak casks.
