HONG KONG, Dec. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sino Club of Sino Group actively participates in community services, green activities, as well as art and cultural events, and engages its members in different voluntary services that contribute to a better community. During this festive time of the year, Sino Club continues to reach out and send blessings to our community. With the five colourful Christmas angels symbolising love and joy, Sino Club has hosted a Christmas Party "Love Christmas Angels Sing @ Sino Club 2015" with 130 members and participants from Hong Kong Single Parents Association at Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel on 5 December 2015.
The festive celebration embraced an array of interactive activities, workshops and performance with the elements of Green, Art, Care and Love. The event decor featured homely country-style setting with lovely Christmas decorations, blossoming seasonable plants, gingerbread house and cakes with handcrafted sugar art angels.
Amongst the activities included 3D printing demonstration by Dust Production to tailor-make Christmas accessories of reindeers and Christmas trees, and terrarium workshop conducted by Lovely Green for the participants to freshen up their homes with a little greenery. The school choir of Po Leung Kuk Ngan Po Ling College was invited to perform Christmas carols, captivating the audience with the classic and joyful melodies. Participants also enjoyed festive food tasting with foodwise items presented by the creative chef team of Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel, highlighting the message of green living.
Embracing our values of "Trust.Value.Care", Sino Club has organised a territory-wide food donation programme with Food Angel, Feeding Hong Kong, and Foodlink Foundation Limited since 2014, which echoes its commitment to serve the people in need. Sino Club members and their families have brought with them around 3,000 packs of rice and packaged food in different events held over the past 12 months to support this meaningful call.
Throughout the festive months of December 2015 and January 2016, a series of roadshows will be held at Sino malls, commercial and residential properties to collect packs of rice or packaged food from the public with volunteer visits to the local food bank to serve and express our heartfelt care for the community.
