SHANGHAI, Oct. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Reed Exhibitions Greater China, the country's leading exhibition organizer, has received the 2017 Excellence in Organization Development Award. This honor is given to companies in China, whose extraordinary HR practices and CSR activities have made a significant contribution to their corporate development.

The award is sponsored by 51job (Nasdaq: JOBS), one of the nation's leading human resources solutions providers that serves hundreds of thousands of domestic and multinational corporate clients throughout Mainland China. The aim of the award is that winning candidates serve as models in the field by influencing and helping more companies to understand and value effective HR strategy, while promoting and developing new ideas and innovations in HR management. This year's 22 recipients underwent several screening stages starting from a pool of hundreds of thousands of companies nationwide, of which 219 candidates were nominated. Final award recipients were chosen based on five key criteria and a selection process that comprised detailed data collection and company analyses, together with telephone and in-person interviews.

Reed Exhibitions Greater China, with its nine outstanding member companies and over 600 staff serving 12 specialized industry sectors, has earned several accolades over recent years in the field of HR. The company has been recognized for three consecutive years as a Best Employer in China. In 2014, it was selected as a 'Beijing Top 30 Employer', and was a nomination finalist for UFI's 2014 Education Award for its ongoing learning and development initiatives; in 2015, it received The Best Performance Management Company Award and 'Beijing Top 30 Employer'; in 2016, Reed Exhibitions Greater China (RXGC) won the Excellence in Organization Development Award and was named amongst the top 100 employers in China's annual 'Employer Excellence Awards' for outstanding management based on key criteria, including company growth, talent recruitment, staff retention, training and development, and corporate social responsibility.
