BEIJING, April 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Silicon Dragon is bringing its well-known venture and tech forum series to Beijing, to highlight China tech innovation and investment trends. This founder and investor forum will be held April 26 in Beijing and features such leading venture capitalists and dealmakers as Jenny Lee of GGV Capital, Dave McClure of 500 Startups and Sonny Wu of GSR Capital.

The program will explore technology trends in artificial intelligence, VR and AR, big data, on-demand marketplaces, fintech, robotics and other hot sectors. Factors that lead to success for Asia's emerging companies will be discussed: talent, team, technology, business model, capital, profitability, global/regional impact and financing valuations for upstarts.

The program includes a special in-depth look at three tech innovators in Beijing who are progress extra-fast: bike sharing app and unicorn Mobike, Tencent-backed lifestyle travel platform Zanadu, and Mobvoi, a Chinese artificial intelligence startup founded by ex-Googlers.  Additionally, the forum features a tech chat with Forbes Asia under 30 winner Tianqi Sun, founder of Vincross, a technology company that designs and develops consumer robots.

Now in its sixth year in Beijing, this annual event is led by Silicon Dragon founder Rebecca Fannin, an expert on global innovation trends, a Forbes contributor, and author of two well-received books: Silicon Dragon (McGraw-Hill, 2008) and Startup Asia (Wiley, 2011). The program includes law firm Cooley as a lead sponsor in addition to co-working and collaboration community DayDayUp. The forum will be held at DayDayUp, Sanlitun Soho, Building C, Level 22, April 26, 5-8:30pm.

The Silicon Dragon conference brings together business leaders, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors and leaders of the startup ecosystem for discussions on what's next in Asia's emerging tech and venture markets. Participants will gain insights on how to raise financing and develop strategies to succeed in the region and in leading innovation hotspots such as Silicon Valley.
