Restaurant in Starhill Gallery, the first-ever for the iconic event. Partnering with superclub Zouk Kuala Lumpur, the exhilarating evening also saw the introduction of the inaugural "People's Choice Award" for timepiece. Shook! Restaurant was transformed into club central to receive more than 400 specially invited guests to celebrate the spectacular finale.

Earlier in the evening at 8.00pm, Lord's Tailor showcased its immaculate men's collection paired with watches from Malaysia's first watchmaking company MASA Horlogerie at the Adorn Floor of Starhill Gallery. The showcase is part of Kuala Lumpur Alta Moda, a high fashion extravaganza held in Starhill Gallery to showcase couture collections by renowned international and local labels.
People's Choice Award
The AJTT X Zouk Party was made more exciting with the launch of the first-ever "People's Choice Award" for timepieces. Chosen by party guests who were invited to vote for their favourite timepiece on the spot, one lucky winner took home the most voted timepiece, which was the Armand Nicolet MO2 Complete Calendar, with 46% of the votes. Other exquisite watches nominated for the "People's Choice Award" were Armand Nicolet Black S05 Range, Bedat & Co 828.010.600, Maurice Lacroix Les Classic and Muhle Glashutte Terrasport 1 Beobatcher.
Apart from the presentation of the "People's Choice Award" timepiece to the lucky winner, three other prizes were presented during the Lucky Draw. Prizes were a limited edition MASA Horlogerie watch and JW Marriott hotel stays each.

The 10th anniversary of A Journey Through Time was celebrated over the course of ten days, from 4th to 13th November 2016 at Starhill Gallery. The event's calendar began with prestigious Tourism and Culture Gala Night: Watch and Jewellery of the Year Awards Presentation 2016 with performance by critically-acclaimed British mezzo-soprano Ms. Carly Paoli.
The year's theme "Legacy and Icons" was brought to life through an expanded calendar of exclusive offerings. Watch and jewellery aficionados were able to view and appreciate rare private collections, first-in-market editions and show-stopping pieces by over 125 renowned watch, jewellery and lifestyle brands while experiencing unique events curated specially for A Journey Through Time X.
Key highlights of this year's event were the global debut of MASA Horlogerie which included a special piece inspired by the legendary Taming Sari, the inaugural JeweLuxe® showcase in Malaysia with over RM80 million worth of jewellery on display by eight distinguished international jewellers presented through a curated series of thematic events and the Timeless Royal Weave exhibition which celebrated Malaysia's finest "bejewelled" fabric -- songket with an exhibition of British designer Dame Zandra Rhodes' contemporary songket dresses and Kraftangan Malaysia's collection plus 'live' demonstration of songket weaving. The showcases were complemented with special fashion shows pairing watches and jewellery with the collections of Zandra Rhodes and Lord's Tailors curated by Kuala Lumpur Alta Moda.
Other key highlights were the special A Journey Through Time Retrospective exhibition on the past nine years of the event and a portrait exhibition of ten prominent Malaysian personalities with fascinating stories of their most-cherished and priceless timepieces and jewellery in The Legacy Of Time. Private gala nights and special by-invitation cocktail events hosted by renowned brands took place throughout the event days.
