What's seasonal rare sake

Sake has seasons. Breweries produce limited editions of Sake in every season which are very rare even in Japan. The limited SAKE is basically unpasteurized and the taste is totally different from the general lineup.

  • Winter: Winter is the brewing season. Freshly made Sake nouveau is little sparkling and the taste is very solid.
  • Spring, Summer: Through few months maturity, the taste becomes soft and smooth. Good for the hot summer.
  • Autumn: 9 months matured SAKE becomes very mild and rich. The taste is thicker than newer Sake.

Specially designed Snow Cellar

The Snow Cellar is an ancient Japanese way to keep food fresh. The snow never melts throughout the year. For the benefit of the customers, the Sake is stored in the snow cellar. After 1 year in the perfect environment, the aged Sake will be delivered.

  • No vibration from electricity
  • Perfect naturally dark storage
  • Stored in low temperatures and high humidity

Why only seasonal sake?

Seasonal sake is basically unpasteurized and unfiltered. The taste of these seasonal sakes is totally different from general sakeThis type of sake is very limited and difficult to transport, since they have to be kept in chilled all the way to the destination. SAKEMARU believes unpasteurized and unfiltered sake is the most authentic sake experience.
