The leading event of the year for China's dyestuffs industry to take place April 12-14 in Shanghai

This year's China Interdye and China Textile Printing will focus on environmentally-responsible products and solutions

SHANGHAI, March 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The 17th China International Dye Industry, Pigments and Textile Chemicals Exhibition (China Interdye) and China International Digital Textile Printing, Printing and Dyeing Automatics Exhibition (China Textile Printing), is scheduled to take place from April 12th to 14th, 2017 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. The 40,000-square meter exhibition area will house 630 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions. Exhibits will include a variety of advanced environmentally-friendly dyestuffs, organic pigments, catalysts, intermediates, in addition to environmental impact assessment equipment and digital textile printers as well as printing and dyeing automation technologies and materials. The two exhibitions will be hosted by the China Dyestuff Industry Association, the China Dyeing and Printing Association and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Shanghai Sub-Council and co-organized by Shanghai International Exhibition Service Co., Ltd.

The two industry-leading events serve to guide development trends across the sector

With the shift of the dyestuff industry from the US and developed countries in Europe to developing countries in Asia, China's dyestuff production now accounts for 60 percent to 70 percent of the world's total. India, South Korea and Taiwan are the largest sources of China's dye imports. More exhibitors from these three countries and regions will participate in this year's exhibition.

China Interdye, with 16 years of experience and growth, has become the world's largest dyestuff exhibition and a wind vane for the industry. This year's exhibition will be held concurrently with China Textile Printing at the same venue, providing a one-stop experience for textile printing and dyeing purchases and creating a broader platform for industry development.

At this year's exhibition, a robust roster of the printing and dyeing industry's domestic and global leaders, including Tanatex, Huntsman, Yorkshire, Archroma, Zschimmer & Schwarz, Pulcra, Nicca, Chia Her Industrial, DuoWen, Lamberti, Bozzetto, Evonik Industries, Rudolf, Shanghai Liansheng Chemical, Zhejiang Longsheng Group, Zhejiang Runtu, Hangzhou Jihua Group, Yabang Chemical, Transfar, Dymatic Chemicals, Tianyuan Chemical, Merida, Jingjin, EPSON, MS, Honghua Digital Technology, Hangzhou Kaiyuan Computer Technology and Human Digital, plan to showcase advanced technologies and products as they join hands to promote the development of the industry.

The exhibition creates a platform for the transformation of the industry while environmentally-responsible technologies move into the spotlight

China's government emphasized the development of the environmental protection sector as part of its five-year economic plan for the period spanning 2006-2010, and, since the start of that period, the environmental protection industry has been growing at a rapid rate. By the end of 2016, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Environmental Protection confirmed that the country's environmental protection industry had maintained an annual growth rate of more than 15 percent in terms of output value over the previous decade. Protecting the ecological environment has become a consensus of the international community, leading to stricter environmental protection policies and standards as well as higher barriers to entry for green trade. Environmentally-responsible consumption is becoming a new driver of sustainable development. Respect for the environment, when coupled with collaborative development, have become the path to sustainable development for the textile printing and dyeing industry. It is our common responsibility to establish environmentally responsible end-to-end materials supply, manufacturing and distribution systems and networks. Huntsman will showcase its next-generation dye product AVITERA SE which allow downstream companies to reduce their consumption of water and energy. Honghua Digital Technology has rolled out a low-cost, easy-to-use, zero-emission digital printing device. Transfer Innovative-Material has developed a new water-free printing and dyeing process, which is expected to go a long way in promoting the development of China's environmentally responsible printing technology. Changzhou Hongda's intelligent control-based high efficiency steam utilization technology has been included in the National Development and Reform Commission's list of the country's Key Energy-Saving and Low-Carbon Technologies. These companies will continue to emphasize environmentally responsible development as they work together to create a platform for the transformation of the industry.

During the exhibition, forums focused on these key themes will be held concurrently by various industry associations including the China Dyeing and Printing Association, the China Dyestuff Industry Association, the China Cotton Textile Association, the China Knitting Industrial Association and the Organic Pigment, Catalyst and Color Masterbatch Speciality Committees of the China Dyestuff Industry Association. China Chemical Industry News, Intertek, Transfar Zhilian, TESTEX and Guangzhou Lianzhuang Technology, among others, will host meetings and conferences where advanced technologies and concepts will be presented, providing attendees with an excellent opportunity for exchanges and cooperation, with the ultimate goal of creating a platform for an industry-wide transformation. Keynote speeches and forums including the 16th National Seminar on New Materials, Technologies, Processes and Products in the Printing and Dyeing Industry, Microreaction Technology -- A New Approach to Green Development of the Dyestuff Industry, Solutions to Sustainable Development of Green Chemicals, the Seminar on Digital Textile Inkjet Printing and the Sixth Forum on the Development of Safe and Ecological Dyes and Pigments will focus on green development and promote new environmentally-friendly printing and dyeing products and technologies, helping boost the sustainable development of the industry.

Interdye Asia provides a stage for globalization of the industry

In order to accelerate the transformation of China's dyestuff industry and the implementation of the Chinese government's Going Global Strategy, which calls for the promotion of Chinese investments abroad, the organizers are planning further editions of Interdye Asia. The 7th Interdye Asia will return to Indonesia and be held in Bandung, Indonesia's textile center, from November 1st to 3rd, 2017, paving the way for Chinese dyestuff companies to expand in the international market, create China-based name brands, improve their after-sale services, facilitate B2B meetings and engage in mutually beneficial collaborations.
