2017-05-05 09:00 4783

SINGAPORE, May 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --  The Comexposium Group - the world's leading digital innovation events' organiser - today announced that iMedia Brand Summit will return to SEA with an event planned to be held in Thailand on 14-16 August.

Themed 'Brands: Disrupted', the 2017 event will return to The Slate Resort in Phuket, Thailand, featuring a line-up of international and local thought leaders discussing and debating the key challenges brands face in an increasingly digital world.

The event program has been developed with the guidance of a local advisory board comprised of industry thought leaders from Starhub, Nespresso, SPH, Colliers, Thompson Reuters, Coty, We Are Social and more to ensure the content resonates with SEA marketers.

The initial event line-up includes:

  • Adam Good - Chief Digital Officer, Dentsu APAC
  • Honey Mittal - Senior Vice President Product, Wego
  • Weng Wai Koh - Head of Marketing Communications, SPH
  • Cassius Taylor-Smith - Executive Director & Head, Colliers International

More speakers to be announced in coming weeks.

"It's an exciting and challenging time for marketers," said Richard Sossen, MD Comexposium APAC. "You have global brands like McDonalds announcing partnerships with Uber to offer customers home delivery. Likewise, Amazon is moving into APAC as well as opening bricks and mortar shopfronts to serve their customers better."

"These are just two leading brands pivoting at scale to put their customers first. It's industry shifts like this that have marketers worldwide making time to attend iMedia Summits. So we're delighted to return to Thailand after the success of last year's launch event, and we're certain this year's event -- with the help of our esteemed advisory board - will be even better."
