Park Hyatt Sanya Sunny Bay Resort Launches its Fourth Masters of Food & Wine Event

SANYA, China, Feb. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Park Hyatt Sanya Sunny Bay Resort hosted its fourth Masters of Food & Wine event on 2 and 3 February 2018, when invited guests gathered in Sunny Bay to explore a unique journey of art and flavors under the title "Floating at Sunny Bay".

This activity was partnered with young artist Ms. Xinmo Wu and Hong Kong-based contemporary art gallery Lucie Chang Fine Arts to create a plankton art exhibition with a jellyfish theme, mirroring the fabulous jellyfish at pool bar, which takes a lotus as its shape, to show the soft and unrestrained state of the jellyfish combined with the natural environment concept of Sunny Bay.

Executive Chef Mr. Kyo Lin inspired by the jellyfish art, selected some of the island's most special ingredients and custom-made a themed menu named "The Bump with Primate and Invertebrates."  Invited guests designed their own dessert in the form of an art class, with their palette and edible pigments, guests created artful delicacies for both visual and taste enjoyment, creating the perfect end to the activity.

The jellyfish works on display are representative of Ms. Xinmo Wu's aesthetic research, presenting the tension between the medium and reality to create a fleeting and enchanting scene. The art works by Ms. Xinmo Wu are provided by Lucie Chang Fine Arts. Since its inception, the gallery has been dedicated to promoting the diversity of art forms, to promote Chinese cultural and to render art works across a variety of different media.
