China Green Agriculture Inc. Announced that Its Wholly-owned Subsidiary was selected by China Green Food Co-op (the "Co-op") as the Co-op's preferred fertilizer Supplier

XI'AN, China, May 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- China Green Agriculture, Inc. (NYSE: CGA; "China Green Agriculture" or the "Company"), a company mainly produces and distributes humic acid-based compound fertilizers, other varieties of compound fertilizers and agricultural products through its wholly-owned subsidiaries in China, today announced that, in earlier May 2013, one of the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary in China, Shaanxi TechTeam Jinong Humic Acid Product Co., Ltd. ("Jinong"), was selected by China Green Food and Agriculture Co-op ("the Co-op"), as one of the Co-op's preferred fertilizer suppliers in its certified green food production.

Advocated since its founding in 1993 by a group of agricultural experts including the former minister of Ministry of Agriculture of China, the Co-op has a twenty-year history in distributing quality agricultural materials such as seeds, fertilizers, and roundups to farms in China. Farmers purchase Co-op authenticated agricultural materials and supplies through the Co-op's purchase and distribution network. Under the distribution network that the Co-op has been promoting, the Co-op is in strict supervision of agricultural materials distribution in a relatively closed channel. The Co-op plans to expand its distribution coverage to more than 20 provinces and 200 cities in the future.
