BAIC Holds Job Fair in Germany to Recruit International Auto Industry Talents

STUTTGART, Germany, May 21, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd. (BAIC Group), the 5th largest automobile manufacturer in China, held its first German job fair in search of automobile industry talents today in Stuttgart. BAIC Group will hold an additional two job fairs in Munich and Aachen until May 25th. BAIC Group is targeting Master candidates from local universities and research institutions, and local professionals, hoping to hire as many as 70 top international talents to join the Company.

The job fairs are offering automobile industry talents a chance to be hired into one of several openings within 54 senior level positions at BAIC and its subsidiaries including: BAIC MOTOR Corporation Ltd. (BAIC Motor), BAIC Motor Technical Center (BMTC), BAIC Motor Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. (BMEV) and Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. (BBAC). Apart from the 60 specialists in the finished vehicle performance, assembling technology, automotive electronics, new energy electric and other related areas, BAIC also hopes to hire 10 people majoring in vehicle engineering, engines, machinery, welding and vehicle chemicals.

BAIC Group made Germany the first step in its global recruitment plan. The plan aims at supporting the Groups' globalization strategy, allowing the Group to better compete internationally, and manage the enterprise in accordance with international standards to achieve product internationalization, management internalization, and employee and service internationalization. To reach this goal, the Group has put its global recruiting plan into motion so that large numbers of international talents can contribute to narrowing down the gap between the Group and international automobile enterprises. From 2009 to 2010, more than 20 senior management experts and technical experts from Detroit, USA and Europe took positions at BAIC Group.
