CHANGZHOU, China, Dec. 7 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- An agreement was executed
by and between Changzhou National Hi-Tech District (CND) and China Electronic
Science & Technology Group Institute No. 3 for the setting up of the Jiangsu
Lab and its Quality Inspection Center.
First created in 1960, China Electronic Science & Technology Group
Institute No. 3 (known as TV Audio Visual Research Institute) has been
dedicated to the research, development and dual applications of TV audio
visual technologies, creation and modification of the National Standards, and
professional services on quality testing of broadcast & television equipment,
measurement of instruments and on quality assurance system verification.
By entering into CND, the Institute No. 3 will bring in its research
results for civil application and services for the construction of a platform
of testing and inspection to be offered by said Lab, which renders services
to the Yangtze River Delta. Both parties of the Lab will also jointly
promote the translation of research results into products for civil
applications.
The cooperative projects will include development, marketing & sales and
technology transfer of electronic products for automotive applications,
digital television, etc.; quality assurance system verification platform;
product criteria creation, inspection methodology; sharing experience on
instruments measurement and mutual assistance in testing, calibration and
inspection within the designated region.
