Cision Introduces Its Global Media Intelligence Services to the Region

HONG KONG, Sept. 6 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Cision Global Solutions, the world's leading provider of international media intelligence and communication insights, continues to forge ahead aggressively in Asia, as it announced today the introduction of its global media intelligence services to the region.

Speaking at the company's Asian launch ceremony, Cision's International Business Director for Asia, Ms. Jennifer Kok, stated that as part of its plans for the region, the company will be launching a portfolio of media intelligence services designed to enable PR and communication professionals in Asia to efficiently evaluate all aspects of their public relations (PR).

Ms. Kok noted that the company's integrated one-stop-shop solution, which aims to simplify the PR activities of corporations, public relations agencies, government and not-for-profit organizations, would span two key media components:

-- media measurement and analysis resources, to facilitate the

evaluation of corporate coverage, industry trends, brand comparisons,

and overall PR effectiveness;

-- and comprehensive media monitoring capabilities, including the

ability to track print, broadcast and online coverage in 137

countries.

In terms of media intelligence services, Ms. Kok expressed that one major challenge faced by many PR and communication professionals is the ability to track and benchmark coverage across different countries with most companies still resorting to a variety of media monitoring houses and utilizing non-uniform evaluation and delivery standards.
