CooTek Files Patent Infringement Lawsuit against Nuance Communications, Inc. in Shanghai

SHANGHAI, June 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CooTek, an innovative and award-winning developer of mobile applications, today announced that it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUAN) in the First Intermediate People's Court in Shanghai, China. Docket number: N0. (2013) Hu Yi Zhong Min Wu (Zhi) Chu Zi 98.

In its complaint, CooTek asserts that Nuance infringes CooTek's Chinese Patent No. ZL200710045241.8, entitled "method of realizing input by smart soft keyboard on electronic screen equipment". In the patent infringement suit, CooTek seeks monetary damages for Nuance's infringement as well as injunctive relief to prevent continued infringement by Nuance.
