CreditEase Wealth Management and The Jerusalem School of Business Administration Announces Strategic Partnership

2017-04-07 10:00 3164

JERUSALEM, Israel, Apr. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CreditEase Wealth Management signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the School of Business Administration, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJ) on March 22 local time to jointly boost strategic cooperation in but not limited to internship, educational resource sharing, cultural events and commercial exchanges.

CreditEase Wealth Management was the first financial institution from China to set up an office in Israel. In fact, the CreditEase Wealth Management-HUJ partnership has lasted for years and it has expanded channels and created opportunities for non-governmental investors and mutual exchanges.

"Such a partnership is very important to both parties," said Zvi Wiener, the school's dean. "Today is neither the first nor the last step (of our cooperation), but definitely the most critical one."

Also in attendance were 20 students who joined the fourth Israel trip of CreditEase Wealth Management Institute. During the eight-day program, the group listened to lectures on innovation, visited startups and experienced the local culture. Thanks to HUJ's efforts, the students also met with Robert Aumann - a 2005 Nobel Laureate in Economic Sciences, a former intelligence officer from Mossad, a high-ranking female officer from Israeli Intelligence Corps (Unit 8200), and Saul Singer - author of the Start-Up Nation. They also had a closer look at Mobileye, a smart driver assistance system startup recently acquired by Intel for USD15.3bn.

Although more and more Chinese institutions are running similar projects in Israel, the CreditEase Wealth Management's program still stands out with high market recognition, built on the company's deep understanding about the country as well as its strategic partnership with the Hebrew University, said Zhou Yuan, Managing Director of CreditEase Wealth Management who participated in CreditEase Wealth Management's initial investigation on the program.

"Every trip that I've made to Israel has been eye-opening," said Zhou at the ceremony.
