Darling Ingredients Inc. Announces Diamond Green Diesel Commencing Start-Up Process

IRVING, Texas, Sept. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Darling Ingredients Inc. (NYSE: DAR) announces that the Diamond Green Diesel (DGD) facility in Norco, LA, the Company's joint venture with Valero Energy Corporation, commenced the start-up process on September 15, 2014, following a fire incident on August 3, 2014. The quicker than expected turn-around should bring DGD back into full production by next week. As previously announced, the name-plate capacity will be increased to 11,000 barrels per day of input feedstock.
