"We are putting together some capabilities that will support new products and services for our customers. "Frost & Sullivan hopes to have roughly 800 employees to be based in its Iskandar office in the next 6-7 years," Mr. Zutshi said.

Malaysia is currently Frost & Sullivan's second largest office in Asia Pacific, with over 200 employees in both Kuala Lumpur and Iskandar Malaysia. The company, headquartered in Mountain View, California has about 1,500 analysts and consultants globally.

Mr. Zutshi added that Frost & Sullivan has also relocated a few of its senior leadership team in Asia Pacific to Iskandar and is hiring more senior executives to be based out of the Iskandar office. "Iskandar is a strategic location in the region due to its proximity to Singapore and other high growth economies such as Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines, which allows us to drive growth in a more accelerated manner," he said.

Mr. Zutshi also said that Frost & Sullivan's team of analysts in Iskandar will be supporting clients in Japan and Korea, who are increasingly looking to invest in ASEAN.

He added that Frost & Sullivan will also unveil findings from its latest research Mega Trends Malaysia on April 14 at its flagship Growth, Innovation & Leadership congress in Kuala Lumpur.

"We want to help our clients use Mega Trends as a framework to think about how to innovate and drive their business," he said.

Mr. Manoj Menon, Senior Partner & Asia Pacific Managing Director said that Frost & Sullivan will be organizing the Frost The Trail charity run for the second time this year in Iskandar, to be held on April 12. "100% of the donations received for Frost The Trail Iskandar 2015 will be channeled to support our beneficiary, Mercy Malaysia to support in the flood rebuilding efforts," he added.

Frost the Trail was first introduced in Singapore in 2006. Its aim was to raise awareness about corporate environmentalism through education, competition and participation. The success of the event led to it being introduced in Kuala Lumpur in 2009.
