The most prestigious awards at the event were presented to two CIO Innovators of the Year whose teams had the most outstanding impact on their enterprises' strategic innovation and delivered a significant competitive advantage. The winners are as follows:

CIO Innovator of the Year Award for Large Enterprises

  • Joseph Schuldhaus, Triple Five Group of Companies (Triple Five): Aiming to create a social shopping experience that enhances in-store shopping with the interactive, content-rich capabilities of e-commerce, the operator of the three largest malls in North America reinvented the interactive mall directory kiosk. Triple Five's proprietary IMD combines 65-inch screens with mobile engagement and motion sensors that allow Triple Five to analyze and improve the customer experience. The IMD provides turn-by-turn directions to mall visitors on their cell phones, a rich advertising platform for mall tenants, and a new source of revenue for Triple Five.

CIO Innovator of the Year Award for Small/Medium Size Enterprises

  • Benjamin Arazy, Arazy Group Consultants, Inc.: Arazy created LICENSALE.COM, a cloud-based system that automates and expedites global regulatory compliance submissions for medical technology devices in over 101 countries. The system enables clients to register multiple products in multiple countries, simultaneously, dramatically accelerating time to market. The solution helps get medicine to the people who need it faster, and has placed Arazy's global business on a steep growth trajectory.
