TOKYO, Nov. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Frost & Sullivan will be participating the Measurement & Control Show 2015 Tokyo in Japan, where the company will provide the latest insights on the global mega trend on measurement and control industry.

Organized by the Japan Electric Measuring Instruments Manufacturers' Association, Measurement & Control Show 2015 Tokyo is the major measurement and control industry exhibition in Japan. The exhibition will be showcasing the cutting edge technologies for the measurement, control and automation driven by the development of ICT technologies.

One of the key highlights of this year's exhibition is "connectivity" driven by IoT (Internet of Things). The development of technologies such as IoT (Internet of Things) and M2M (Machine to Machine) has been changing the face of measurement and control business and evolving new customer needs. The key facets of IoT, Internet of Industrial Things, and smart factories, will leave a decisive impact across all sections of the manufacturing value chain.

Frost & Sullivan expects there will be 50 billion connected devices by 2020. With the advent and evolution of technologies such as cloud computing, industrial internet of things, and big data analytics across major industrial verticals, there is a need for more innovative testing solutions under a convergence and new grand ecosystem. For that purpose, there is a need for new value creation to realign synergies, partnerships and collaborations across the vendor landscape. We can expect combined synergies of core test and measurement industry companies, ICT and sensing technologies supported by business services.
