BANGKOK, Nov. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Giti Tire is set to officially announce the soft launching of its Giti brand commercial tire products in the ASEAN region at "Bus&Truck'15", the 12th Thailand Commercial and Special Purpose Vehicle Expo on November 5, 2015.

At the exhibition, Giti Tire will have a large booth display (situated at E102), where commercial vehicle tire products can be viewed. Business Development Manager of ASEAN, Mr. Elson Lee, will be a VIP presenter for "The Essential Elements for Excellent Tire Performance & Cost Management" on Nov. 6 at 11am. In addition, Giti will introduce three new products for the first time in the ASEAN market.
Two versatile combi-road tires, GSR225 and GDR655 have been developed for a wide range of highway and regional applications, from long and straight highways, to narrow winding national and country roads. Both tread compounds are designed to navigate both smooth and rough road surfaces with ease, resist irregular wear, and deliver long mileage. The patterns will be available initially in 11R22.5, 12R22.5, and 295/80R22.5 with additional sizes currently in development.
In addition to the products noted above the newly re-designed GT867 urban use commercial vehicle tire will be exhibited. Using a new highly abrasion resistant tread compound, large improvements to wear life have been achieved. This star product is specifically designed for stop-and-go urban driving conditions with frequent speed changes and turns. It features an extra-reinforced sidewall protector to ensure maximum resistance to curbing and impact damage. Also on display at the exhibition will be the GAO822 off-road all position tires. This pattern has been created in response to the needs of durable tires for dumper trailers, and increased requirements for high traction for off-road usage.
