The 3rd Chengdu Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair officially opened on May 10, 2017 in Chengdu, lasting three days. More than 3,000 products or projects of 300 companies participated in the transactions, the total trading volumes reached up to RMB16 billion (US$2.285 billion) in the 2nd Fair in 2016. This year, the total trading volumes reached RMB24.25 billion (US$3.457 billion).
As an important part of the Fair, "Global Innovation Space and Demo Day," was also held from May 10-12 at Chengdu International Exhibition Center. The International Innovation Space and Demo Day, as one of the key display areas, was comprised of famous representatives from overseas innovative enterprises, global scientific and technological giants, and international entrepreneurship incubators.
The International Innovation Space & Demo Day aims to promote the exchange and incubation of global innovative and entrepreneurial resources to structure the global industry ecosystem of "mass innovation and entrepreneurship".
