XL Results Foundation Launches in Paris France, Providing Support for KIDCan and Children with Cancer

SINGAPORE, June 27 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- XL Results Foundation, the world's leading entrepreneur and social enterprise network, will officially launch in France on June 28. This is the second European location that XL has expanded into -- the first being the UK in mid 2006.

In its role as the leading global entrepreneur and social enterprise network, the XL Group supports various nominated causes -- either through direct giving or working with its entrepreneur network -- as to how individuals and companies can most effectively give to nominated causes. XL France will support KIDCan -- a new foundation supporting children with cancer.

KIDCan provides free flight support on private and corporate jets for children with cancer (and one or both parents) to travel to a medical facility for treatment of their illness. KIDCan was founded by French/American national Rone de Beauvoir, utilizing her experience of providing catering services to private jets in Europe & the US. KIDCan operates by identifying empty seats on private jets that can be offered to children in need of urgent medical treatment in distant locations.

XL France is an XL Social Enterprise Accredited Company, meaning that it will donate at least 10% of its profits to a nominated cause. For XL France this cause will be KIDCan. The XL Social Enterprise Accreditation Programme is a simple, yet powerful global initiative to recognize businesses that exist for a greater good.

Christophe Poizat is the XL France Country Manager, "Bringing XL to France allows us to support the work that Rone & KIDCan have begun. As a father of two children, I understand the anguish that parents must feel when their children need treatment in a far away location."

Poizat has lived on four different continents and has over 20 years of international consulting experience in Europe, Australia and the US.

Roger Hamilton, XL Group Chairman, commented, "Our move into France is a logical next step as XL global and social entrepreneurs reach out to connect and contribute back in more locations and in more ways. France has a reputation for being highly entrepreneurial and we expect to open in further cities soon after our Paris launch."

Singapore and France have long enjoyed strong trading relations -- with Singapore being France's third-leading trading partner in Asia, and its leading trading partner in South East Asia.
