Linekong Invests US$20 million in Its New U.S. Subsidiary

HONG KONG, Feb. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Linekong Interactive Group Co., Ltd. ("Linekong" or the "Company", which together with its subsidiaries, is referred to as the "Group"; stock code: 8267), a leading mobile game developer and provider in Mainland China, is pleased to announce that the company has invested US$20 million in its newly-established subsidiary in the Bay Area, the U.S. to further expand its presence in the global mobile game market as well as solidify its leading position in the domestic and international market.

The new subsidiary is comprised of industry veterans from PopCap Games, Warner Brothers, Disney, Zynga, Lucas Arts, Dreamworks, Electronic Arts, Rockstar Games, Kiwi to Chartboost, and will be primarily engaged in content development and distribution that targets at global market as well as partnership establishment with developers from Europe and North America. Linekong has already set up subsidiaries in Korea and Taiwan and will accelerate its pace of globalization upon the establishment of the new U.S. subsidiary.

In early April 2015, Linekong launched its "Pan-entertaining", "Elaborating" and "Internationalization" strategies. The Company has successfully launched One Hundred Thousand Bad Jokes, The Legend of Zhenhuan and The Wars of Shushan with famous Chinese IP. In June 2015, the Group has established a subsidiary in the U.S. with a local research and development ("R&D") team. Apart from publishing high-quality games, this subsidiary is also engaged in the R&D of international gaming products.
