KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, June 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Asia-Pacific region has been the single largest growth opportunity for the coatings industry. From 2001-2010, the region saw an increase in representation of the global coating market from 27% to 40%, and a similar upward trend is expected to continue. Given the unique opportunity that this presents to the regional market, ECMI officially launched the Coat & Corrosion Asia 2016 (CCA 2016) event at the Sunway Putra Hotel amidst great anticipation in the coating and corrosion control industry. CCA 2016 stands to be the landmark platform for Malaysia to position itself as the regional leader for the coat and corrosion industry.
