PayEase Teams up with Taiwan-based OnePaid to Offer Cross-strait e-Payment Services

HONG KONG, Feb. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- PayEase, the leading electronic payment service and solution provider in Mainland China, and OnePaid, the payment services platform of Taiwan-based Gangu Tech, jointly announced an e-payment cooperation agreement to facilitate cross-strait Internet-based payment services to Chinese buyers and Taiwanese sellers.

According to the agreement, OnePaid will provide online acquiring services for merchants in Taiwan. Meanwhile, buyers in Mainland China will be able to use PayEase to made direct purchase from Taiwan via their UnionPay cards. Every time a transaction is completed, the merchant will be alerted about the successful payment via push messaging by the OnePaid mobile app. The merchant will then be able to use the back-end dashboard to quickly call up information such as the transaction's order details, payment status and shipment address. This service will be 100% free, meaning that merchants won't need to take on any additional fees for platform development before jumping right into cross-strait e-commerce.
