RICS Hong Kong Forms Management Consultancy Faculty Committee

HONG KONG, April 21 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- In view of the expanding role of Chartered Surveyors, RICS Hong Kong has just approved the formation of the Management Consultancy Faculty Committee in Hong Kong.

The Management Consultancy Faculty Committee has a remit that covers not only management consultancy but also business property solutions, business management and practice, strategic advice and corporate and personal insolvency and turnaround management. With financial and asset management being a hot topic in Hong Kong, the Committee also hopes to bring more insights in this regard to local members. Members of the Committee include Messrs KK Wong, Sam Cheng, Stephen Chung, Ede Chan, Alfred Lo, Edward Law and Willie Tse.

Mr. KK Wong, Chairman of the RICS Management Consultancy Faculty Committee, said, "We are delighted with the formation of the Committee. Main theme of this year is 'Knowledge Management'. From activities that we are going to organise for this year, we hope to enable members and also the general public to understand surveyors' role as consultants in this rapidly growing market of Hong Kong. "
