SINGAPORE, Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- After record-breaking conferences in Singapore and Tokyo earlier this year, Tech in Asia, the online platform for Asia's tech community, is set to conclude the year on a high with Tech in Asia Jakarta 2015. Taking place on 11 and 12 November at Balai Kartini, the conference marks Tech in Asia's fourth year in Jakarta's flourishing community, since its initial entry as Startup Asia in 2012.

Featuring an extensively revamped content format, attendees will be treated to five Expert Stages, each packed with content tailored to today's biggest trends - Mobile, Marketing and Fin-tech, and the ecosystem's key demographics - Developers and Students.

"Entrepreneurs and investors alike always seek a deeper understanding of their industry's latest developments, and its future," says Andrew Wang, COO at Tech in Asia. "We are now bringing greater value to our attendees by presenting a radically wider variety of content across six stages, all accessible with a single pass."

The conference continues to bring both globally renowned and locally respected speakers to the Main Stage to share their entrepreneurial journeys, dish out priceless advice and debate the ecosystem's hottest topics. This year's Singapore conference saw Y Combinator's Kevin Hale and GrabTaxi's Anthony Tan under the spotlight, while the recently concluded Tokyo conference hosted powerhouses Om Malik and a16z's Ben Horowitz to packed halls. In less than a month, the Jakarta conference will welcome the likes of Werner Vogels, CTO of Amazon; Thomas Lembong, Indonesia's Minister of Trade; and Roger Egan, Co-founder and CEO of RedMart. More speakers will be confirmed closer to date.

Bootstrap Alley, the ever-popular exhibition booths for startups, is the entrepreneur's chance to expose themselves and their product-ready startups to the constant stream of human traffic navigating the conference venue. This year, the conference is preparing to exhibit a total of 250 companies over 2 days - the largest tech startup exhibition yet in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Entrepreneurs hoping to connect with major investors, global corporations and top-tier media outlets can look forward to joining Startup-Investor Speed Dating, Office Hour and Meet the Media sessions respectively. These 5-minute quick pitch sessions present valuable opportunities to speak with important people who may otherwise be tough to secure a meeting with.

The Arena pitch battle, a hallmark segment and perennial crowd favorite of Tech in Asia's conferences, presents pitching startups with the chance to win USD10,000 in prize money, as well as the attention of investors from all around the world. Startups with less than USD 1.5 million in total external funding are eligible and welcome to apply.

Night Crawl after-parties, first introduced in May this year at the Singapore 2015 conference, ensure that attendees don't have to stop networking when the conference day ends at 6pm. Jakarta will be no exception, and conference-goers can expect to meet new contacts, catch up with old friends, and rub shoulders with the who's who of the ecosystem at the highly acclaimed Fairgrounds in the heart of Jakarta's Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD).
