SHENZHEN, China, Jan. 11 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Irish Mag Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: IRHM), (proposed new name China Public Security
Technology Inc. (the "Company")), a leading provider of real-time Geographic
Information System (GIS) in China, today announced that the Company's wholly
owned subsidiary, Bo Hai Wen Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. ("Brosea") is
expecting to complete three key government contracts amounted USD 10 million
within the second quarter of 2007.
In November 2006, Brosea won three key government contracts named
'Shenzhen Immigration Check Information System', 'Hong Kong & Macao Residents
I.D. Card Auto Check System' and 'Immigration Automobile Auto Check
Information System' offered by Shenzhen Immigration Bureau of P.R.China.
Shenzhen Immigration Check Information System project amounted
USD 1 million, is designed to manage the information of visitors and
automobiles crossing the border. The checking at the immigration checkpoint
information includes visitor's bio features such as fingerprint and facial
recognition. Upon completion, this system provides strong data support for
boarder control and expedites the immigration check process to a great extent.
Hong Kong & Macao Residents I.D. Card Auto Check System, amounted USD 6.6
million, allows residents of Hong Kong & Macao region to cross the immigration
checkpoints with only automatic process by matching the fingerprint and facial
recognition. This system is capable of reading I.D. Cards automatically
without complicated procedure, such as stamping and filling out the
immigration form. This system dramatically improves the efficiency of
immigration check and reduces the average time for each person to cross the
custom to 5-10 seconds. It effectively solves the problem of peak-hour
immigration check traffic. This system embeds various bio characters
recognition technology, dynamic detecting technology, automatic switching gate
technology etc.
Immigration Automobile Auto Check Information System project is totaled at
USD 2.4 million. By implementing the proprietary license recognition
technology with bio feature matching technology, this system enables
authorized vehicles to cross the border without human interference.
These public security systems represent the top tier technology in the
world. The systems can be extended to be used for border control and
immigration check on mainland China citizens, tourists and foreign visitors.
At the present stage, Brosea has completed design of these systems and is in
phase of integration testing. The final roll out is expected in the second
quarter of 2007. It will be installed at Shenzhen Bay port and Futian port
and for the ceremony of the 10th year anniversary of Hong Kong's return to
China. Shenzhen Bay port will become the largest commercial port in China and
Futian port will be the largest enter port. The daily traffic capacity for
Shenzhen Bay is exceeding 58,000 cars plus 60,000 individual visitors. The
Management expects that similar systems will be installed in other ports and
customs in many cities throughout China.
Mr. Jiang Huai Lin, President and CEO of Irish Mag commented, "We are
