HONG KONG, Nov. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tonly Electronics Holdings Limited ("Tonly Electronics" or "the Group"; SEHK stock code: 01249) announces its unaudited monthly sales performance in October and for the first ten months of 2015. The below products do not cover all the business of the Group and the below figures do not fully reflect the business performance of the Group in the mentioned period.
In October 2015, the Group recorded monthly revenue of HK$409.8 million from audio-visual ("AV") products, down 25.4% year-on-year. For the first ten months of 2015, the Group recorded revenue of HK$3,798.1 million from AV products, down 8.1% year-on-year.
The unaudited monthly sales revenue for audio products down by 24.7% year-on-year to HK$244.8 million in October 2015 and for the first ten months of 2015 increased by 6.7% year-on-year to HK$1,942.5 million. Monthly sales revenue for traditional audio products decreased by 57.5% year-on-year to HK$74.7 million due to a slowdown in customer demand.
The unaudited monthly sales revenue for video disc players decreased by 45.7% to HK$90.9 million in October 2015 and for the first ten months of 2015 decreased by 32.7% year-on-year to HK$1,180.7 million.
The unaudited monthly sales revenue for media boxes business increased by 30.2% year-on-year to HK$74.0 million in October 2015 and for the first ten months of 2015 increased by 21.3% year-on-year to HK$674.9 million.
In the face of the challenging business environment and a decline in sales of video disc players, the Group expects sales revenue for the full year 2015 will be lower than last year.
