HONG KONG, April 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tonly Electronics Holdings Limited ("Tonly Electronics" or "the Group") (SEHK stock code: 01249) announces its unaudited monthly sales performance in March and for the first three months of 2015. The below products do not cover all the business of the Group and the below figures do not fully reflect the business performance of the Group in the mentioned period.
In March 2015, the Group recorded monthly revenue of HK$363.2 million from AV products, down 0.8% year-on-year. For the first three months of 2015, the Group recorded revenue of HK$1,071.0 million from audio-visual ("AV") products, up 9.4% year-on-year.
The unaudited monthly sales revenue for video disc players decreased by 32.0% to HK$126.4 million in March 2015 and that for the first three months of 2015 decreased by 11.6% year-on-year to HK$397.3 million.
The unaudited monthly sales revenue for audio products grew by 30.3% year-on-year to HK$159.0 million in March 2015 and that for the first three months of 2015 increased by 30.3% year-on-year to HK$427.8 million.
The unaudited monthly sales revenue for media boxes business increased by 33.4% year-on-year to HK$77.7 million in March 2015 and that for the first three months of 2015 increased by 22.2% year-on-year to HK$245.9 million.
The Group will continue to invest in R&D for new types of audio products and strengthen its innovation capability in electroacoustics. For the media box business, the Group continue to strengthen its cooperation with both domestic and overseas internet and telecommunication companies. Meanwhile, the Group will attempt to enter into other new business, expand its existing business and enlarge its income source through both organic expansion and acquisitions.
