Trina Solar Announces Test Production of 220W Multicrystalline PV Modules

CHANGZHOU, China, Aug. 31 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Trina Solar Limited (NYSE: TSL) ("Trina Solar" or the "Company"), a leading integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic products founded in 1997, is pleased to announce the test production of its new multicrystalline modules, with power output ranging from 180 watts (W) to 220W.

The new multicrystalline product line has been designed to complement Trina Solar's existing portfolio of high quality monocrystalline modules. The new multicrystalline modules, produced from Trina Solar's own ingots, wafers, and cells contain sixty 156mm x 156mm cells, which provide higher power, increased exposure to sunlight as well as improved stability.
