BEIJING, Dec. 24 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- WI Harper Group, the San Francisco-based China focused venture capital firm announced its partnership with Jet Li One Foundation to jointly promote the philanthropy concept of "We Are As One" on the firm’s annual Chinese New Year celebration event January 9, 2009, at Diaoyutai State Guest House.
The proceeds received from this event and follow-up donations will be managed by Jet Li One Foundation to help bring children in poverty back to school. The event is expected to be well attended by business leaders, academia and media professionals as well as government officials. Famous Chinese violinist CHAI Liang, accordionist CAO Xiaoqing, double bassist CHEN Ziping and rising stars - guitarist LI Jie and pianist DAI Bo will be performing at the event. In addition to the classics, renowned hula hoop performer JIN Linlin who holds the Guinness Record and ventriloquist HONG Bo will also contribute to the glamour of the party.
