What's more, all these districts are connected by the city's passing roads. As a result, Wuping has become a comprehensive city suitable for living.
Wuping is not only a modern city but also one with a long history. Lots of celebrities have been nurtured in the city: Liu Guangdi, one of the six Wuxu gentlemen (the reform pioneers in Qing Dynasty in China), Liu Yalou, father of the Air Force of the PRC and Ling Mohan, the famous author, to name a few. In addition, myriads of remains and places of interest were left in Wuping. For example, the remains of the capital city of Nanhai in the Han Dynasty and that of the god -- Dingguang Buddha, worshipped by the Hakkas. A lot of Hakka towns were also left here.
