[IGEEC 2015] Green Energy Expo Opened at Daegu

SEOUL, South Korea, April 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- #EXPO -- Being the third largest new and renewable energy tradeshow in Asia, the 12th International Green Energy Expo & Conference (IGEEC 2015) was held Apr. 1 - 3.

Hosted by Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongsang Province, and organized by Korea New & Renewable Energy Association, Korea Photovoltaic Industry Association, Korea Wind Energy Industry Association, and Korea Hydrogen Industry Association, IGEEC is one of Asia's major new & renewable energy shows with the participation of 300 companies from 26 countries. Also, prepared with many business conferences and forums, it attracted approximately 25,000 visitors this year.

For this year's show, reputable manufacturers of battery and electric cars that run with photovoltaic, wind, and hydrogen energy are among the participants, and global business consultations with buyers from around the world including the U.S., Germany, China, Japan, the Middle East, and Uzbekistan were available to provide new opportunities for those interested in making new sales channels.

Global Leaders in New and Renewable Energy

Schmid Group, Germany's solar energy equipment manufacturer, held hands with Korea's S-Tech and participated at IGEEC 2015 together, and Kaco New Energy, the manufacturer of inverters with the third largest market share, introduced its new inverters and ESS storage devices at the show.

And, JA Solar, the leader in China's solar power energy market that is also listed in NASDAQ, Multi Contact Korea of Switzerland, and DSM of Netherlands, were among the loyal participants of the show that exhibited at the show.

IGEEC's Business Conference Marks as the Largest New & Renewable Energy Meeting in Korea

There were 30 sessions in nine areas prepared at the show. Over 100 speakers from Korea and around the world spoke about the latest technology and current market.

The directors from four major institutions(Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning, Korea Institute of Energy Research, Korea Energy Economics Institute, Korea Energy Management Corporation New & Renewable Energy Center) hosted strategic forums for the development of the industry.
