PANGYO, South Korea and BARCELONA, Spain, Feb. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- HANDYSOFT, one of the leading companies of IoT in Korea headed by InSoo Chang (www.handysoft.co.kr), will exhibit its core technologies in IoT such as Smart Fitness Service Application and Connected Car Platform at MWC 2018 in Barcelona from Feb. 26 to Mar. 1. MWC stands for Mobile World Congress and is the world's largest exhibition for the mobile industry.

HANDYSOFT recently launched Smart Fitness Service Application on the market and signed a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with a major Asian telecom service provider for its Connected Car Services business, with the goal of expanding its IoT business in the world market. HANDYSOFT plans to use the MWC to extend its market for global business.

At the MWC 2018, HANDYSOFT is scheduled to showcase its Smart Fitness Service Application named the RACE MAKER for the first time in the global market. HANDYSOFT completed development of the IoT-based Smart Fitness Service jointly with the sportswear maker Good People, and is planning to start full-fledged marketing. It provides a one package set composed of sportswear, devices and applications. It supports smart health care and an upgraded sports life. 

The RACE MAKER, operating on the HANDYPIA IoT platform, can provide users' exercise performance and analytical/statistical data for different types of sports by accurately measuring bio information like heartbeat, exercise intensity, etc. and provides voice-activated service. HANDYSOFT plans to expand its IoT-based healthcare market through joint venture businesses with diverse wearable device manufacturers.   

HANDYCAR, a subsidiary of HANDYSOFT, is now exploring business opportunities with communication service providers to target Asian markets. HANDYCAR recently signed a MOU with Telkom, a major telecom service provider in Indonesia, for joint venture businesses in Connected Car Services. It is planning to accelerate its strategy to target the global market. HANDYCAR's Connected Car Services can collect a vehicle's locational and diagnostic information, which may result in technological innovation for drivers' convenience.
