TV TOKYO Enter into Gaming Partnership with iDreamSky

iDreamSky to create mobile games based on popular TV TOKYO animations for China and other Asian territories

SHENZHEN, China, July 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TV TOKYO Corporation, a leading Japanese content producer and broadcaster, announced today a licensing agreement that gives Shenzhen iDreamSky Technology Co., Ltd., the largest mobile game publishing platform by active users in China, the right to create brand-new mobile games for China and other Asian territories based on Shugo Chara!, Nobunaga the Fool and Total Eclipse. iDreamSky has obtained the rights to distribute each game it creates in mainland China, Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong, Korea, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore. All titles will be released in 2015 with specific details to be announced at a later date.

Shugo Chara! is a magical adventure series that follows Amu Hinamori, a fifth grade transfer student, fighting alongside her guardian characters against mysterious enemies. It is based on the comic series of the same name by the creative duo Peach-Pit, originally published by Kodansha in Nakayoshi.

Nobunaga The Fool is a sci-fi action series that takes place on two planets (the Western Planet and the Eastern Planet) once upon a time. It is based on an original concept from the imagination of legendary mech designer Shoji Kawamori (designer of Macross mechs).

Total Eclipse is part of the Muv-Luv Alternative universe and feature sci-fi, alternate history and lots of girl pilots. Muv-Luv was originally created by Kouki Yoshimune of Japanese game company ixtl.
