KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Oct. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Widely recognised as Vietnam's No.1 Water & Wastewater industry Show – the 6th edition of VIETWATER 2014 Expo & Forum will once again make its mark from 12-14 November, 2014 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in, Ho Chi Minh City. It is expected to attract over 300 exhibitors from 32 countries as well as to welcome 9000 trade visitors from across the region.
Since 2000, Vietnam has been characterised by rapid urbanisation and industrialisation. In light of these changing development prospects, Vietnam has ambitious plans for its water sector in the future, which are outlined in the urban water and wastewater targets that the government aims to achieve by 2025. A significant portion of this target has already been approved by the ADB in the amount of USD 1 billion for investment in the country's new municipal water and wastewater infrastructure.
