MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Based on its recent analysis of the innovative and contextual mobile ad user experience market, Frost & Sullivan recognizes Adtile Technologies with the 2014 North America Frost & Sullivan Award for Enabling Technology Leadership. Adtile Technology's ad content delivery software, Adtile, offers a unique user experience with its white label technology. This novel solution enables mobile users to experience ads without disturbing the design of a website or their mobile experience. Its very small footprint and wide revenue streams are additional incentives for publishers to adopt it for integrating context-aware ad delivery into websites and mobile applications.

Adtile is made available to the publishers as native software development kits (SDK) that seamlessly integrate with a client's Web, iOS and Android publishing platforms, giving the user the experience of a natively built application. The SDK empowers publishers to match the ad content developed by them with the design and feel of their websites and applications. Competing solutions lack such capabilities, which often result in mobile ads with small and incompatible ad lines and Web pages.

Instead of using software-based transitions while displaying ads, Adtile allows the SDK to perform hardware-based transitions for a smoother ad experience on mobile devices. By virtue of this hardware-transitioning capability, Adtile leaves only a small footprint, facilitating the delivery of better performing ads, Web pages and applications.

"Adtile's proprietary Motion Ad and Response-Rendering Technology aid publishers' ads to automatically resize and replicate the visual appeal of any mobile application or Web page," said Frost & Sullivan Senior Research Analyst Sathya Vendhan. "Furthermore, to improve the contextual delivery, the solution's proprietary semantics technology helps study the user's interaction with published ads, mobile Web pages and applications."

Competing solutions often allow third-party content developers to load the ads on the client's Web pages, which results in unwanted changes in the ads delivered. Adtile eliminates third-party interference by enabling Web publishers to load their SDK into their Web-development platform.

As the solution comes with an application programming interface (API) adapter, it can be customized to connect with various ad servers. This gives developers the flexibility to use third-party services without any integration or compatibility issues. The solution provides tiered price plans such as tagline cost per open, ad impressions, cost per click, cost per install, cost per time spent, cost per play and much more. The solution has ad tracking capabilities, so advertisers only need to pay for the ads the user actually sees.

The solution, with its unique modular architecture, is capable of delivering a wide range of applications to publishers and end users. It offers numerous targeting options such as applications, channels, keywords, devices, behavioral, human interest, location and identifiers. This widens ad publishers' ad-customization capabilities, which can be leveraged by marketing firms.

"Adtile focuses on high-end brands that need an innovative ad-serving tool to optimize the brand's presence in niche customer segments," noted Vendhan. "Its ability to provide reports from publishers and advertisers through its advanced real-time reporting tool stands out in a market where most native mobile ad-serving technologies fail to add key reporting tools to their websites."

Additionally, Adtile is currently developing a new mobile ad operating system focusing on hardware capabilities through global positioning system (GPS), gyroscope, motion coprocessors, accelerometer, and digital compass. The Adtile technology uses sensors in mobile devices to detect prevailing weather conditions and allow ad content delivery systems to deliver ads that can contextually point to the users' needs based on the prevailing weather conditions.

Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents this award to a company that has developed a pioneering technology that not only enhances current products but also enables the development of newer products and applications.
