MUNICH, Nov. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CogniVue Corporation, which licenses its APEX Image Cognition Processor (ICP) technology to semiconductor vendors for automotive and consumer markets, announced collaboration with Fraunhofer on a new smart microcamera targeted at Automotive ADAS applications. The Fraunhofer microcamera is based on the CogniVue CV2201 Image Cognition Processing SoC (licensed to Freescale for automotive applications as the SCP2200) and enables embedded vision processing for ADAS applications at unprecedented small size and low power.

"Along with the APEX-based SCP2200 (CV2201) in the microcamera, we will be working with CogniVue on implementing an ADAS application to be announced at a later date."
