The 'Company of the Year - Insurance' that ACE Life won was the most distinguished award in the insurance category. It was determined by a special committee based on the finalists' overall total score, performance compared to competitors, overall improvement from last year, brand popularity and judges' comments.
ACE Life also won the 'Best-in-Class' title, the highest honor, in four categories, namely Universal Life Insurance Product, Accidental and Disability Insurance Product, Corporate Citizenship -- Insurance, and Product and Service Innovation - Insurance. Besides, it was recognized as 'Outstanding Achiever' in categories of Critical Illness Product and Retirement Product.
