TOKYO, Nov. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Cloud Xchange (GCX) today announced the appointment of Jiro Mase as Managing Director of Japan.
Mr. Mase joins us with over 20 years of telecom experience, most recently from Pacnet where he served as Director of Carrier Sales for North Asia and in other sales management roles since 2008. During his years at Pacnet, Mr. Mase was responsible for driving profitable revenue growth across Carrier and Enterprise markets in Japan, Korea and Philippines. He has received many accolades and awards over the years including Top Carrier Sales performer and Outstanding Sales Achievement Awards.

Prior to Pacnet, Mr. Mase was Senior Manager of Carrier Market, Japan at Asia Netcom and earlier Asia Global Crossing. He has significant experience in building and maintaining relationships with major telecom and service providers, including Yahoo, NTT Communications, NEC and Sony. Mr. Mase began his telecom career with AT&T Jens in Japan, where he gained valuable sales and management experience.
Mr. Mase received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Meiji Gakuin University in Japan and Associate degree in Computer Science (Honors) from De Anza College in California.
