HONG KONG, Dec. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- China WindPower Group Limited ("CWP" or "the Company" and its subsidiaries "the Group," HK stock code: 182), is pleased announced that two new PV power plants commenced power generation on 23 December 2014. The two new PV power plants are respectively located at Nedong County, Tibet and Indiana, USA.
Nedong County, Tibet project with installed capacity of 20MW is located on the highest part in China. The region enjoys one of the richest sunshine in the world. The expected power generation hours of this project is approximately 1,918h in the first year and the tariff is RMB1.15/kWh. The other project is located in Indiana, USA with installed capacity of 11.1MW. It is the largest distributed PV power plant in Indiana. The estimated power generation hours of this project is approximately 1,351h in the first year.
