Shiner International Expected to Join the Russell Microcap Index

New York, June 20 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Shiner International, Inc. (Nasdaq: BEST), a market leader in China’s packaging and anti-counterfeiting plastic film industry, today announced that according to the recently posted preliminary membership list at http://www.russell.com/indexes , the Company expects to join the Russell Microcap Index when the 2008 reconstitution of the Russell Indexes takes place after the markets close on June 27, 2008.

Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for both passive and active investment strategies.
